This is my entry for IchigoShirayuki's What's The Matter? challenge. Hope this series is 'not-well-known' enough?
What's the matter? One of my very close family members is known for participating in drug activities. They've been doing this for years, getting on and off constantly. They've pretty much become dependent on it to make them feel 'good'. The worst thing is is that it changes that person's personality drastically. When they're on the drug they act relaxed, irresponsible, and uncaring. When they're not on the drug they become violent, easily aggravated, and extremely argumentative. Their habit has torn my family apart and ruined my relationship with that person. It's hard to look at them like a respectable role model, let alone being viewed as a sort of authority in my life. It's also hard to visit with this person, never knowing which 'person' I'll get to see.
Don't do drugs. If you're not going to consider your own safety and health, at least reconsider for your family and loved ones. No matter how small the drug, it can still cause unrepairable damage.
