"And then I began to fade away"

Good evening, ladies and gents! After figuratively dying on here, I decided to boot up my trusty old friend, GIMP, and make some cards. Now, I'm submitting this into Suki's apocalypse challenge, but if you don't think it's apocalyptic enough, feel free to disqualify it! Here's my explanation for entering.

In this picture, the boy is surrounded by flowers. If the world ever ends in an apocalypse, I would assume plant life would take over the world, growing in places it couldn't before. In this image, the boy is blending in with the plants, being slowly devoured by the foliage until he disappears completely, or fades. The somewhat glazed look in his eyes gives him the appearance of giving up. So, if that made no sense to you, go ahead and disqualify it. It was worth a shot? XD
