I've decided to enter the pinky:st challenge: draw you favorite anime character in that style of figurine. I've already done Rei Ayanami from Evangelion, but I really wanted to try Asuka in this style as well. Thankfully, when I saw the challenge, it gave me the motivation to draw her as well.

I lost count of how long it had taken me to paint this picture, even if it was a fairly simple one, at that. For paints, I used mainly acrylics and some watercolors. I did the lines with a Deleter pen and nibs. I keep the CG background soft-looking; I didn't want to overwhelm the main character with an elaborate amount of detail, so I picked a very simple sky background. Finally, I wanted to draw happy Asuka in her yellow dress (pinky:st version has her in a stylized plug suit). Enjoy!
