Alternate title: Katin' the TARDIS
I decided to submit this to the site, if just because, well, I can. So sue me.
This was for Art 101 (Drawing 2). The assignment was to take a portrait of yourself and make the background something...else. The background has to have a different light source and you need to try and merge the two. Me being a total nerd, I decided to put in the TARDIS from Doctor Who. Unfortunately, I did the portrait first, and therefore did the blue light casts first, meaning that "I" would have to be really effing close to the thing in order for that light cast to happen. I also drew myself rather large, so that severely limited what I could do in the background...
Skin tone is a beast, but I seem to have gotten it, and it's really not that bad for my first serious outing. I think my favorite part might be the ear YES THE FLIPPIN' EAR. The darn things confound me, so I'm rather impressed by it. Also, lolearring.
