Ehhh, this took longer than expected and I was way more confident when I started this than when I finished.

Let's see... The concept is based on Times Square. Yeah, I found out about the bombing thing the day after I had already started... Basically, it was sort of "What if those big screens in Times Square all had anime playing on them" Then I tried to encorperate that into an outfit.

I decided to go with a kimono cuz it seemed more festival-y. If it was something like AnimeNext then considering the TV, it would make the design more futuristic, so since it a New York Anime Festival I figured that a kimono would be better. Does that make sense...? Plus the long sleeves mirror the tall buildings better.

Yeah, it may not look like it but the random pictures on her sleeves are supposed to be tv screens. That's why I put in the two malfunctioning ones with the colorful bars and static. The other pictures were just old stuff from my portfolio. I figured since they're mine it would be okay.
