And, here's the first layer of paints for the cleaner version. I transfered my penciled version to a higher quality paper, and then lightly inked it. I kept the lines light since they'll get covered up by the many many layers of paint I use. Once finished, I'll put down the final, clearer inked lines with my pen. I never got rid of the artifacts, and you can see some paint splotches near the bottom, which I'll have to clean up. Also, I still have to cut the paper down to size, since it didn't completely fit in my scanner.
I'll probably be finished this in a couple days, since I still have many layers of paint to add (I use thinned-out acrylics, which goes on in multiple layers and shades), and I still have to ink it and make a background (which will probably be CG). Once finished, I'll get rid of that watermark, since I find them distracting on finished works.
