Meet Smile and Grin von Nacht de Wolfe. They are twins of German and Danish descent. Smile is the girl, and Grin is the boy. Grin is the older by two minutes. They're free OCs, which means that I did not create them for any particular anime or manga.

Although I did take heavy inspiration from Kuroshitsuji... Which may explain their heavy gothic overtones in looks. xD;;

~ why these outfits? questions can be dangerous.

I imagined them as young city people, and keeping in with what I've seen on people around their ages around here I created these outfits. Of course, lots of otaku-ness appearing. I also tried to not use a hat, since nearly every otaku-inspired outfit I've seen has a hat. I wanted to be different! So of course, I had to get as creative as possible. You can see it in the little details. :3
