I wanted to show the two lives conflicting Thumbelina, since throughout the movie, she was presented with several paths of life she could've taken.

So this shows a showgirl for Mr. Beetle vs innocent, love-seeking Thumbelina who soon found her prince at the end of the story.

I think Mr. Beetle is quite charming.
No wonder I got allured by him when I watched the movie when I was liek 7.

Sorry I used minimum colors....I had no other markers.... but colored pencils, which I can't master yet lol.

So, yeah, the two girls are the same person.
