Hatake Kakashi is the leader of Team 7 in Naruto. He is well-known for his use of the Sharingan eye and is a ninjutsu prodigy. At 13 years of age, He obtained the Sharingan from his friend Uchiha Obito, who gave Kakashi the Sharingan as a gift before dying. Since then, Kakashi has valued teamwork above any other virtue. He is now 29-30 years old.

Reasons Why He is the Greatest Anime Character Ever:
Kakashi is one of the few characters in the series that show they truly learn from their mistakes. After Obito's death, which resulted partially because Kakashi refused to abandon the mission and save his teammate, Hatake Kakashi has always stressed the importance of teamwork.
Also, Kakashi is a modest person who readily praises others on their abilities. He is very matter-of-fact and laid-back, and this works to his advantage in a battle as he never panics. Kakashi is also usually cheerful, despite the deaths of his friends and mentor.
Finally, (this is the trait i admire the most ) HE WOULD DO ANYTHING TO PROTECT HIS VILLAGE, KONOHA (as seen in the battle against Pain and in the war).
