So, this one took me a while. I started out not knowing where I was going with this at all, and as I sketched more and more, it all came together. And what I portray in this painting is exactly how I feel at the moment.

I wanted it to look smoldering, quietly burning, but not flaming. Possibly ready to burst into flames, possibly not. The waning moon signifies a time of reflection, reassessing, reviewing, and banishing: perfect for my life at the moment. This painting is full of symbolism, but as always, I want everyone to find their own. I like to keep mine quiet lol.
