Continuing with my Studio Ghibli sketches, here's Seita and Setsuko from Grave of the Fireflies. I watched it last Friday with my sisters and brother. It WAS sad but thanks to all the warning you guys gave me ahead of time, I was prepared! The beginning was just as sad as the ending but I didn't cry cuz I occupied myself with drawing this picture.

Since I hadn't seen Grave of the Fireflies before, it was a bit harder for me to concentrate while drawing this so I used the cover for reference as well. I enjoyed the movie and the rawness of it, seeing its an older film and based on the war. Yeah, it is much different then the happy-go-lucky films we usually see from Ghibli!
