For some reason, I had a strange desire to draw Speed Racer while I was at the beach. ._. YEAH. I kind of also wanted to try "cell shading" with colored pencils. (But I added in blending anyways. BAW.)

This is kind of a re-draw of sorts of this picture. xD
I've only ever watched the Speed Racer anime maybe 3 times, and it's actually very odd. The dub is so strange. xD But I loved the 2008 live-action movie! 8D Haha. It reminded me of racing video games. It was also EXTREMELY COLORFUL.
But yeah.
Maybe I should try watching the anime again. But I'll probably still think it's weird. xD
