For a contest on DA. The aim of the contest is to draw any Saiunkoku character expressing an emotion such as love, hate, jealousy, etc., or in a relationship such as friends, kin, couple, etc.

I chose Ryuuren Ran, Shurei Hong and Eigetsu To for this contest. Ryuuren calls Shurei and Eigetsu his "bosom friends"/"soul friends" in the various translations of the Story of Saiunkoku anime. I love Ryuuren's eccentricity (and that lethal flute XD). Shurei's shouting at him to stop playing the flute, while Eigetsu is being a bit nicer about it. :D
