First (oh gosh) submission of 2013!!

Long time no see everyone!! @__@ Like..REALLY long time...*sighs* I fail so much...
Okay so I have a million and one excuses for not having a)gotten this up earlier and b)been submitting any art as of earlier, but the main one is that I've been incredibly INCREDIBLY busy ever since this semester started AND I've been working on several rather large pieces and I was hoping to submit one of those to start off the year well, but that ended up...not happening. OTL I'M STILL WORKING ON THEM THOUGH!! >///<

In any case though, I really really did have a lot of fun with this and I loved it so much I actually wanted to use it as promotional art for a spring festival event that was happening at my university after asking for plaushe's permission, but that ended up not happening because I didn't have it completely done by then adskghasldghad. Even though it doesn't really look like I spent much time on this, I really spent quite a bit of time trying to make it look clean and nice and everything, so I hope that shows somewhat! >.< The main basis for this pic was that I wanted to experiment with details and negative space, so that's why you guys can see some contrast happening in the pic.

But! I hope everyone likes this and I promise that this summer will be filled with MUCH bigger pieces. I WILLL FINISH THESE DRAWINGS!! d(>__<)b
