The goddess of the dawn. "Aurora" literally means dawn. In mythology (mostly Greek mythology as Eos) her brother is the sun (Sol, Helios), and her sister is the moon (Luna, Selene). She is renewed every morning and is the first to wake. Some myths say her tears are the morning dew.
