my entry for Anime Boston's art contest: Magic and Mischief~ ^^;

back story:

Poor Chef Francois! With fame comes misfortune, and he is no exception! His renown for baking the most scrumptious, most delectable cookies have attracted not only loyal customers but faeries who also cannot resist the mouthwatering treats! Unfortunately for him, these playful creatures don't pay, nor do they even ask -- the cookies are simply magically lifted away as soon as they leave the oven! The only thing he can do is to make sure he bakes enough, and that's just the way the cookie crumbles.

i swear working on this was giving me serious existentialist issues. lmao. i hated it; it was frustrating, depressing, and aggravating. then it somehow turned out ok. xD
