WOO HOO. SUMMARY OF ART. It's getting close to the end of the month, so I'll just post it now. c:

January: My first colored pencil picture in forever!! 8D I hadn't used colored pencils in so long, but I had a lot of fun with it. Also, I never draw Michka and Zack... sorry. "orz
February: All the pictures I submitted in February were weird and not that great. :T I chose this 'cause it was kind of cool how it was in pastels. I don't ever use pastels anymore... >3>
March: Starting in March, I had this weird watercolor moment. Twas fun! 8D And lazy, 'cause I didn't have to do line arts. I can't do watercolor pictures anymore because I don't actually own any... .u. I had been using my art teacher's watercolors. xD;
April: I drew this in April, but didn't bother to upload it until May. >3>; I think this drawing helped me with backgrounds a bit more.
May: I didn't have any finished pictures in May... >3> SO ENJOY THIS RANDOM COLLEGE STEFAN!
June: First colored picture of Chrystal and Noland! I actually draw Noland a little differently now, than I did there. Sort of. A little. yeah. Also, after this drawing, I realized that I love cell shading. 8D
July: More cell shading! This helped me with drawing backgrounds on SAI, though. :D
August: "TIME TO TRY REALLY HARD WITH COLORED PENCILS," I thought. xD; I wanted to try a background with colored pencils again. Luckily, it turned out better than I expected! 8D Previously, colored pencil backgrounds would come out odd-looking.
September: This was a panel (?) from that doodle-comic about Stef and Noland I did that month. ...yeah, September wasn't very interesting.
October: And even more cell shading! Yeah, I like cell shading now... Also, SteGabe. Also, I did draw this in October, even though I uploaded it in November.
November: FAKE SCREENSHOTS ARE FUN, OKAY... and I was sort of practicing backgrounds on SAI. Sort of.
December: VFF, MY BFF! (??) More colored pencil practice. I used to hate using black in the backgrounds because it never looked smooth, but this one helped me figure out some ~*~NEW TECHNIQUES~*~ with the black colored pencil.

Total submitted: 21, not including comics/etc.

Overall: My coloring hasn't really gotten much better since January, but I feel like I've gotten better at anatomy. It's not very noticeable looking at this, I guess, but I CAN FEEL IT IN MY FINGERS that anatomy has gotten easier. I'm also a lot more comfortable drawing and inking backgrounds, now. IDK HOW THAT HAPPENED, BECAUSE I DIDN'T DRAW MANY BACKGROUNDS, BUT... YEAH. It's a good thing. 8> Oh, and I'm getting more comfortable with drawing flowing dialogue in comics, and not just 4-panel stuff. It's been a pretty good year, even though it was pretty slow at first! C:

-Still backgrounds!
-Perspective!
-Soft shading on SAI!
-Drawing girls!
-Drawing fan art!
-AND EVERYTHING AND STUFF! :9
