So this is by far my favorite Hayao Miyazaki film of all time, It was the first animated movie that I adored when I was younger and when it was available in VHS at my local video store (yes i had to check out VHS WAY back when) this was the constant in my childhood. The movie was actually a bit more violent than i remembered and it still surprises me that i loved it so much with that in mind but it was and still is my favorite.

I ended up drawing san sleeping in the palm of my hands at night (of course) and a kodama's light shinning through.
