I hope this is big enough, or else I advice to use Download High Resolution to see the details.
Now that I finished with the doodles request, I can finally enter some challenge! yay! this is my entry for the "A Language of Flowers" challenge.
I think I'll explain the draw first. This is my OC Sierra. She's half orphan because her mother died in a civil war, to give the opportunity to her children to be free and have a better future. So Sierra is of course sad for her mother death, but she's also grateful to her for her sacrifice.
The flower that I used are:
- the tatarian aster, in the Hanakotoba means "I won't forget you"
- the Bluebells, they means "gratitude" (actually their first meaning it's humility, but I found a lot of sites that confirm both meanings, so I used it anyway)
- And of course the red carnation, that has different meanings; in the language of flowers it means "My heart aches for you" and "Admiration" (which are both feelings that surely applies to Sierra regarding her mother) and it also symbolize her mother since Claveles is the carnations name in Spanish.
I've done this with coffee on cardboard, white gel pen (mywaifu), faber castell pencils and my carbon pencil, (that I should use more often)
if you want to use coffee to paint, wait for it to cool down! I didn't and I burned my fingers a little. Then again I'm an idiot
Stay Groovy ;-)
