Day 12's theme was to draw either a favorite place or a place we'd like to go; I decided to do the former and draw a place that holds many memories for me: EPCOT Center at Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida.

I spent a good majority of my growing up in Florida, about an hour away from Orlando, so--especially the first time we lived there--we would go to Disney World often (my dad's a big fan of Disney). My favorite park in particular is EPCOT, not just for some of the rides (and a LOT of the memories... R.I.P. Journey into Imagination... we hope to see you remade into your original form someday...), but also because of the World Fair-like portion of the park, World Showcase. The Japan Pavilion is the only place in the US that has a branch of the famous Mitsukoshi Department Store. Yeah, go figure... you gotta pay to get into a theme park to shop XD Oh well.

I can definitely say that I'd love to go back again someday. I'm certainly not as close now as I was some years ago, but that doesn't mean I can't drop by for a visit in the future :D
