I haven't submitted an iphone wall in a while...nor have I entered a challenge for a couple months, so this takes care of both lol! For the muted colors challenge. :)

I used this scan. Range Murata has such a gorgeous art style. <3 I sharpened the scan, and cleaned it. That was the toughest part...getting rid of the crease mark. Thank you, clone stamp tool lol. I desaturated the colors by adding a beige layer on top. Then I did a couple of gradients for the soft lighting. :) The text...well, the flourishes on the side are brushes, and then the words just popped into my head. I was thinking how peaceful and calm the girl looked in this. So sweet and uplifting. And man, the world hasn't been all that peaceful lately. But here's to hoping that maybe one day it will be.
