Waah. This was a hard piece of work, but...it was...worth it? I'm really hoping so. I wanted to make a tribute wallpaper to L...from the fated episode 25. I was actually going to have a collage-type wallpaper with multiple shots of him...but that didn't go as planned because I didn't feel like vectoring all of the screenshots! I'm not THAT good yet (only my 4th). So I vectored but one screen shot...my favorite one. Awww, he's so freaking cute...poor L. This is the screenshot that I used...and as you can see, I had to do a lot with it! That was the toughest part! Because I really don't know a thing about shadows and highlights...so his shirt and hair were so hard for me.

As for the wallpaper, I wanted to keep it fit to the scene...so dark, green, rainy, sad. My dear friend sweetdevil helped me with how to make "rain", so I think it looks ok! I made it look more like glowing shards of light though...^^; Um, I added glows, blurred things (mainly motion blur)...made clouds...oh, I found an image of a cityscape on google and put that in the background, too, to make it look more like in the episode because he's standing up on the roof!

Then the title. It was the first thing that came to mind. :( Added glows, changed the fonts.

I really don't know what else to say about this because the main effort was placed into the vector! That took about 3 days (7 hours total?) to do, and then with the wallpaper...this took around 9 hours maybe! I'm not sure. I really need to keep track of time better. I'll submit my vector as stand-alone here, too, so you guys can use it if you want. :3 Although...it isn't that great, sorry!! I just had the toughest time with him! But it's all for the LOVE of L, right? Enjoy!
