My first submission for this challenge...
I choose to imitate Quiet Noise's wallpaper style. Her wallpaper style is a bit darker and used bloody, grungy or stain texture, vector/render and typer fonts.

So, here's what I do...

First, I resize all the texture and render to 1600X1200px. I used combined the Grunge Texture and the Blood Splatter (1). I saved it, then I start combining the render with the Vintage Background (2). Then I combine (1) and (2) together. Done with 'depth-merging'.

But then, I thought the blood splatter wasn't enough so I try combining the same blood splatter texture with the half-way finished wallpaper.

Then I changed the contrast and the color balance a bit, making it look a bit darker. Using the grunge brush, I color the borders of the wallpaper a bit.

Then I added the 'CUNNING' and those small words using 1942 fonts.
The small words read: "laugh smile think act live cunningly, it's not an option but a must'.

Then my signature would be the last touch.
