I really, really, really wanted to make a wallie, but i've been having a lot of issues with GIMP lately (finally sat down today to uninstall, reinstall, and reload all my fonts and brushes- got some great new ones, like Kingdom Hearts font!!)

when i saw this image, i HAD to use it. this is my practice wallie to get back in the swing of things before i make the prizes I owe people (i dun wanna mess them up by being so outta practice!), so what do you think?? it just has that perfect summer feel to me. I brightened some of the colors and gave it a lighter, sunnier feel, then played with some blue splotchy-brushes before adding the text ^____^ i love how it came out!!

lyrics are by blue october, "into the ocean." great song from a few years back!!
