Here's my entry for the Masquerade Ball challenge. I really liked this idea, but I found it hard to find an image that would be appropriate. I was originally going to submit a Code Geass wallpaper, but I didn't like how it turned out. Then I remembered I had this Tsubasa image that I had used once before, so I decided to use it again. The last time I used this image for a wallpaper, I got a little carried away with textures. I think I did better this time around. I tried being as simple as possible, yet I also tried doing some stuff that I've never really done before. I think it turned out well. Enjoy.
