This is my entry for the [My Life] Wallpaper Marathon V challenge. This month's theme is fear or weakness. It took me awhile to come up with a wallpaper that would apply to this theme but I finally made one.
Right now in my life I've been going through some serious depression and my fear is that I'm never going to be happy again. A while ago my dad didn't invite me to Luke's birthday party this year and that made me depressed. My dad has been acting that way toward me for awhile. I guess My fear is that my dad will never love me for who I am. He always treats me like a stranger whenever I'm around him. It really hurts my feelings. All I've ever wanted in my life is for my dad to get to know me and to spend some time with me. But sadly this may never be the case. Another fear of mine is never being able to make any true friends. I've had many friendships that I thought were good friendships but they ended up failing. I thought Amanda was a good friend or at least she seemed like a good friend. That was until she told me on the phone we couldn't be friends anymore. I cried really hard for several days straight after that. It still bothers me from time to time but I'm better now.
My weakness is that I can't talk to people. I have a hard time talking to strangers and because of this I tend to be a bit of a loner. I have maybe a few friends though. Also I can't trust people very easily because all the people I trusted ended up hurting me. I'm trying to get better at it though.
About the wallpaper
I wanted the wallpaper to convey my feelings and my depression. So that's why there's some dark textures used here. Also I know in Season 3/Beginning of Season 4 of Yu-Gi-Oh GX Jaden is possessed by the Supreme King because of his doubt and his sadness. At the beginning of Season 4 he's a bit moody and he tends to stay to himself. But as the season goes on he starts opening up and becoming happier again. I hope everyone enjoys my wallpaper. Dedicated to LGA775.Also the lyrics are from Nickelback's Lullaby. I felt that they fitted the wallpaper and the theme I was going for.
