I made this wallpaper a few days ago after watching Princess Diaries 2 with my mom. The song "This Is My Time" by Raven is what inspired this wallpaper. I wanted to show how Amu and Ikuto have finally found themselves and they're both growing up and moving on with their lives. In the manga version I think they get together unlike in the anime version. I have always liked this scan and have always wanted to make a wallpaper with it. I finally did and I'm very happy with it.
The process was a bit tricky. I had to clean the scan a bit, mainly in the middle where the page was split. I tried to blend it in as best as I can. Hopefully it looks ok. I used a darker gradient because the scan was so white. It helped darken it just enough to get some more contrast. As for the actions I used about 1 or 2 to get a softer look, to keep the original intent of the scan. I'm quite proud of this wallpaper. I like Shugo Chara and Amu and Ikuto are my favorite characters. Hope everyone enjoys this wallpaper.
I would like to dedicate this wallpaper to my beautiful Hana Ishida. She is just so amazing and like Amu she has come along ways to becoming more confident and amazing. I hope you like it love. I love you and thank you for being my Oathkeeper and my light.
