I didn't do too horribly much to the scan. I thought about cutting Mars out of the background just like what I usually do with other scans. But there was so much to cut out and I am not an expert at that yet :P So what I did was I kinda did a crappy cut-out of her to make her stand out from the pattern layer, a few gradient maps, and a texture layer I added on. I think it turned out alright :P
