I've mentioned multiple times before that one of my biggest dreams is to travel the world, and somehow turn that into a career. The questions here is, however, what inspired me to do something like that? What inspired me to abandon the sense of a "real" career in order to do what I really want to do?
The answer is that the first time I realized my dreams was the first time I heard this audio clip. It just resounded with me and has been resounding with me ever since. As much as I would love to have a lot of money, I would not be happy in the least if I had to give up my dream and get an office job in order to get that money. I would much rather travel, write a blog, be a photographer, have many adventures, live out my dream, and truly be happy.
And how that ties into my wallpaper is in that the first vacation that really sparked my love of travel was when I went to Chicago with my junior high band. That wonderful, glorious experience is something so close to me, so I decided to use a photo of Chicago as the background and the big city as its style, and went from there.
