CTAH - Days 5 through 8

I LOST THE CRAYONS. D:

Ahem, that’s for later. Anyways, yo! ‘sup? Eh heh, I’m gonna start off with a big thanks to everyone who’s reading this. It means a lot. :3

Okay! Onto the blog itself!

We started off our day fairly calmly, by watching the news and eating breakfast. I must say, out of all the places we’ve stayed so far, I like the Hampton Inn the best. :3 So much better than Best Western. Just saying. The news was pretty interesting. The article (question mark?) that I liked the best was talking about how there was going to be a push to end online anonymity. It sounded interesting, but I’m kind of against it. I mean, I can see how it could bring down cyber bullying and online stalking/predators/etc, but I’m on the other side. I get all that, but a lot of people like the anonymity of the internet as a means of escape. They can be anyone they want to be on forums and online games, and unless they tell anyone, no one will know. I’m only on that side, because that’s what I like best about the internet; that people who are unhappy with who they are can go into an online game and become someone they want to be. Plus, it’s often easier to talk to someone you can’t see about your problems than an actual person. I know that because there are times where (after talking to my real-life friends) I’ll talk my problems out with someone here on theO, like my friends Amestar, FireZero, Kaagemusha and Dfdfdf (aka Dai). It’s just easier to talk to someone who you can’t see because if you talk to someone you actually see, sometimes their reactions can hurt. It’s like how people nowadays would rather break up via text than talk because it doesn’t hurt them as much to see or hear people’s reactions.

Feh, what do I know other than my opinion and the fact that even if you did have to use a real identity, you could still use a fake one and the computer wouldn’t know the difference. :P

My rant aside, there was a LOT of driving today. We only stopped for a museum which had the largest ball of twine (wasn’t as big as the World’s Largest Ball of String) and lunch at Applebee’s cousin, a small diner called The Apple Peddler, which had the BEST pancakes. They were light, fluffy, cooked to perfection and covered in whip cream and cinnamon and brown-sugar apples~ =w= Plus, I also got a slice of chocolate cream pie to go. Haven’t tasted it yet, but I have high hopes. :3

Oh yeah! The crayon thingy. I had the really cool crayons I found in a pencil case that I lost. D: But they weren’t the only victims. :( I lost my colored pencils (they were really good ones I found at the soon-to-be-closing Borders), other set of crayons, markers, a mechanical pencil, three white plastic erasers, and of course, the adorable anime-themed pencil case I have. :( I’m still looking the car for it, but no luck so far.

Chilling at the hotel~! Free internet is amazing! :3 But there is one problem, remember how I mentioned that there's a new mascot because Canada can't really work? Well, our new mascot needs a name. :/ If you don't have an account here, FaceBook me your suggestions! :D I'll be posting a picture of him.
