So my first challenge came to a close, and I wanted to personally thank everyone who entered. I really loved all of the entries, and it was hard to pick the winners in the end. Congrats to Snowzi, Judai Winchester, and Kyrachan for being my winners! I hope you all liked your prizes!

Keeping along those lines, I went ahead and put up my second wallpaper challenge that I'd been thinking about for a while too (considering there were absolutely no new challenges in wallpapers for quite a while). Hopefully a lot of you will be interested in participating in this one too. I tried to think of something that everyone could do (although picking winners will probably be just as hard in this one too )

As for life, well, summertime does give me some busy days. Most of my stuff I end up making at night, although I work on and off of the computer throughout the day. I want to find time to sit and draw, but with two kids running around right now, it's been difficult. Hopefully I'll get some new stuff done soon.

In other news, my husband was nice enough to get me Black Butler Book of Circus and the limited edition of Seraph of the End. I had only seen half of Book of Circus (though I read the manga portion of Kuroshitsuji), so that was a treat to be able to finish it and watch whenever I want. The Seraph of the End limited edition is pretty cool too. The box glows in the dark, and there's a box featuring Mika and Yu where you can put season 2 when it's released on DVD/BluRay. I also love the extras, especially Seraph of the Endless. They are hilarious, and I highly recommend checking them out (animefreak.tv has them where you can watch online).

OMG, it's an update :o

So it's been a while since I've done any updates, and I figured I may as well. If anything, it's nice just to talk. A lot has gone on in my life, and it's been a series of ups and downs lately, but I guess it's all good. If anything, I can say I'm still breathing. Honestly, I feel like I've been living Sia's song "I'm Alive" (need to figure out a wallpaper for that incredible song).

Anyway, so I finally did my first challenge on here, which I hope everyone enjoys. It's kind of funny considering that my last wallpaper ended up being themed to a song too. But I find music to influence a whole lot of my creative works, and it's always fun to see the ways that a song or musical piece can be interpreted. I have a few in mind that hopefully I can figure out wallpapers or fanart for now. If anything, I'm trying to make things to help me cope with recent stresses.

Speaking of, things have kind of been up and down, up and down (as I said). Our landlord sadly passed away Sunday (he was 93), so everything's in limbo at the moment. We're hoping that things stay the same here, but we don't know for certain yet. I guess that's just stuff you take one day at a time. But it hasn't been all bad either. I've had some good stuff in there too. My aunt is recovering after thinking she broke her hip, which was replaced years ago, so that's been a plus. My husband's had different work things popping up here, there and everywhere. And on top of it, I won a premium membership here for a year, so that was really cool. There's always little silver linings. At least, that's how I've made myself look at it.

Either way, I'm still here and hopefully will have more new stuff soon. I've been enjoying looking at the recent works by friends and working with Judai Winchester too (she's so awesome!). It's been really fun. I hope everyone is having fun with my recent challenge too. I'm really looking forward to more entries, and I already love the ones that have been submitted so far.

Oh time...

So this has been on my mind for a while now, and I've finally just decided to put it out there because it's been bugging me. I've been in a few challenges here, and I've been considering doing one of my own, but I'm kind of worried about the time I'd have to make the prizes. That, and I'm not sure of what prizes I'd do. Honestly, I've never done anything like that, so I kind of feel unsure about the whole thing, although I'd love to see what would come out of the two ideas I have, considering how creative I've seen others being with other challenges. I really am considering doing it though. I'm just still debating things in my head with it.
