A Difficult Discussion with the Mentor

Shunsui was sure Nanoe knew that something was different when he arrived back at 8th division's barracks. After all, he didn't add any flowery adjectives to her name, and more importantly to her, he did not mention napping at all. Not that he could with the situation he was in. He couldn't consider rest - shouldn't even think about the word at a time a time like this - at least not until he had seen Gramps.

Yama-jii had to know about Juushiro, and since the bastard Sousuke hadn’t been as cruel as to mention it, that task had fallen onto his shoulders. In addition, with Kisuke still not pardoned by Central, someone needed to testify on the behalf of the seraph, Kita, before her sentencing. Scratching the back of his neck and sighing, Shunsui set off. His favored pink kimono lay draped across his shoulders once more to distract from the heavy weight of his responsibilities and serious glint in his shadowed eyes.

The guards at the gate of First Division let him pass through without him needing to speak up. Mind still occupied on how to go about telling the Captain Commander, Shunsui didn't turn back around and playfully criticize their automatic trust in him. He let his feet lead the way towards the Zen gardens in the back.

He found Yama-jii sitting in the shade of a bamboo grove, eyes closed, yet Shunsui knew his old teacher knew his peace was being disturbed.

He took a deep breath and waited to be acknowledged.

Judge, Jury and Executioner: The Capture of the Seraph

Returning back to his squad Yamamoto deposited the Seraph, Kita, into a cell under his division. Shackling her around the neck, wrists and ankles. The special straps that ran from her neck to her wrists then to her ankles restricted her reiryoku making her reiatsu very weak. All of the straps were cut short limiting her activity. Even scratching her nose was difficult. Then three guards were appointed to stand in front of her cell around the clock. Then given their orders.

“No one, but Captain Commander Yamamoto is allowed to visit or speak to her. Is that understood?” Vice Captain Sasakibe told them. “I do not care who or what rank they are. She is off limits to all contact from anyone. We cannot take the chance of her escaping. Central 46 is discussing what will be done with her as we speak.”

“Vice Captain Sasakibe, sir. They won’t put her to death will they?” One of the guards asked.

“Yeah, that seems a little risky since she is a god. Won’t that piss off the other gods if she is killed?” Another asked.

“Her act of treason against Captain Hitsugaya and taking his life--”

“Toshiro is not dead!” Kita exclaimed charging at the bars and grabbing them as she was forced back into the wall in her cell. She hit the stone wall hard and slid down the wall sitting to the floor with her head hung.

Vice Captain Sasakibe sighed and looked back to the guards. “Her fate lies within testimony from the ones that have come into contact with her, and sadly from what I have heard. That was not many. And the one that could clear her name is dead. If Central 46 finds reason to execute her then their ruling will be carried out. Until then, she is allowed no special treatment just because she is a god.”

“Hai!” The three guards replied.

With that Vice Captain Sasakibe nodded, turned and left the holding area where the Seraph was being held.

Specifics:

It would appear I have a few interested in the specifics of what will come about in the circumstances of: Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya and the Seraph, Kita:

Captain Hitsugaya will be punished accordingly for his disobedience:

Striped of rank and placement in a new division or Imprisonment.

One of the rulings will be placed into effect according to Hitsugaya and his cooperation in his arrest.

As for the seraph:

She to will be dealt with accordingly. Depending on her actions and readiness of cooperation, she to could find herself in containment or worse.

Death.

As I have said *a moment of silence* You are officers of the Gotei 13, you have taken an oath. Do not refuse to comply, or you as well could find yourself suffering the same fate as these two.

You are dismissed.

NEW PROCLAMATION:

A new order is proclaimed. It has been reported that Captain Hitsugaya has obtained the seraph. However, he has taken a slight detour in his rout. Thus, he has disobeyed a direct order to bring her to the Soul Society once he had her in his custody.

It is your duty as sworn officers of the Gotei 13 to find and arrest the captain of division ten and to bring the seraph to my attention immediately.
