The End of an Epic...
....okies....yeah....*gets down on knees* I AM SO SORRY FOR POSTING THIS LATE!!!! Seriously guys, I'm sorry...school's been taking over my social and virtual life T_T. So yah...here I go
Okies, well odds are by now every single person who is interested in Code Geass has seen the final ep.So instead of writing a summary, this post is just gonna be a reflection of sorts. So, starting with the begining: Ok, so maybe Suzazku isn't as much of an ass as everyone thought-he got back some brownie points in this final ep. Sure he's the one to actually kill our beloved Lulu, but look at the price he had to pay in order to do so: become the man he hate (Zero). So to me, that deserves a bit of plus points. Next! Lulu's actual death....ok girls...we all saw this coming-this is Sunrise for heaven's sake! it is practically guaranteed that they would be killing off the gorgeous, smart, shit-back crazy Lulu that us fangirls have come to adore and worship. And as for the guys out there...well, odds are you saw this coming too. Now, don't get me wrong-im not the type to usually cry when a character dies or when a series ends or whatnot. But for some reason, when Lelouch died, I felt my eyes water. Maybe it was because of Nunally screaming (how heart wrenching was THAT!?) or maybe it was just the fact that my favorite series in the whole wide world was finally ending..T_T
Ok...now, we've all heard the theories about Lelouch being the hay wagon driver in the last scene. And personally...I'm up for it! I frankly like the idea that Lelouch inherited the code from his father, is now immortal, has become RR (hence the title R2) and is now living with CC, Orange-kun and Anya on a farm (c'mon...do you guys honestly think that Orange-kun would allow his Prince to die? I think not...) I know the whole idea causes many people to roll their eyes at me and tell me I'm delusional....but you know what? I'm a happy delusional! This whole idea of Lelouch being alive makes the fan girl in me happy. So there.
Also, there's been rumors flying about that there's gonna be an ep26 that is coming with the DVDs. As for whether or not this true, I have no idea. It's just something my friend found on her livejournal zone and kindly told me. My feelings on this are iffy. I kinda wanna know what exactly is happening at the end-like what is CC doing, is lulu alive, etc; but at the same time, i kinda like the way that Sunrise ended this-allowing the viewer to make up their own ending, however they see fit.
So yeah...an end to an epic...tis sad, but at the same time, if they had gone for a 3rd season, things might have been dragged out and might have ruined the series (like with Inuyasha). Well, it appears that this review is coming to an end-sadly, I can not say that next week i'll be back with another review...but I still shall be posting up CG goodies, so be sure to keep on coming back!
