Sorry if I've had a lack of communications with anyone over the last few days, but I've been hard at work. And now I am officially done with school for this semester! *party on the wall*
And a shout-out to all of you who sent warm regards my way in lieu of my foot's adventure with a glass panel. I'll type out individual responses soon, but just know for now that my foot is just about fully healed and infection-free, and your thoughts were very much appreciated. ^^

Little math problem for you all:
Glass display case by the base of the bed + exuberant leap to start the day = ???
I was cleaning over the weekend, and I had moved a display case where I keep some One Piece figures at the base of my bed. Completely forgetting about it this morning left me with shards everywhere and a couple lacerations on my foot. I've had it elevated for most of today. -____-
The strange part was that I didn't feel any pain. I heard the crash, I turn on the light, I look at my heel, and there's blood everywhere. When it comes to waking you up, it's better than coffee, let me tell you.
It'll probably be better tomorrow. Here's hoping, anyway.

I've been summoned for jury duty. o.O
It's for January next year, but holy moley I was scared when I saw the envelope. Thought I had some driving misdemeanor I didn't know about that they wanted to rake me for.
If anything, it'll make a good topic for my next Japanese journal. ><
