Anyway, this is Keba Si Rota's character Naomi! I hope this outfit suits her, haha;; I wanted to do something with a flower patter, but flower patterns are hard to draw so I can't really tell if it looks tacky or not. -0-/;; I had fun drawing her though, she seems really sweet. :) The color scheme was also fun because I don't use green too often in my outfits. :o

ANYWAY, yeah, here's this! I can't find the link anymore, but I was inspired (?) by this post I saw of someone who wore a tuxedo top with a skirt, and I thought it was pretty cute. I also recently learned that this type of skirt is called a bubble skirt/dress! They're like my favorite type of skirt... so puffy...... I need to expand my horizons beyond pleated skirts and these puffy bubble skirts, haha;;
But yeah, I just wanted to draw Lafayette in formal (?) wear, haha. I drew this for him awhile ago, but I didn't really like it that much... I think this came out a little better. ;0 Also, yellow's a nice color to work with apparently...!! I didn't like to use yellow b/c black and yellow just made me think of bumblebees, but the white helps keep everything grounded (?) in my opinion. -u-/

Specialty/Area of Interest: I really don't have a speciality, but I am rather fond of Mori Girl styles. I didn't even know there was a name for that fashion until recently. I just enjoyed outfits in that style.
Post Types: I don't know how often I'll post, but I have a couple of styles I can make a feature of.
Other: I don't feel particularly fashionable XD but I've been told I'm quite stylish so... I usually just wear whatever is practical and warm. I feel cold all the time haha. Hi, this is my first time posting anything here, sorry ^^; I’m quite shy
I’ve been trying to work out outfits for my character Andre, It’s really difficult to come up with outfits for a fashionable character when you’re not very fashionable yourself ^^; I tried my hardest though DX Also sorry for any consistency issues >.>;
Andre is half Polynesian, so I tried to incorporate Polynesian/Tahitian fashion into some of the clothes and most of the other clothes, I’ve tried to draw on part of his other side with French style (He’s French-Nigerian Tahitian – Basically many shades of French XD) The only part I’ve not tried to incorporate is the Nigerian part, I might try in the future, but he hasn’t really been around that part much, so has not been influenced as much by it. The comfy clothes and pajamas where just me messing about XD
Another difficult thing with Andre and his clothes is trying to keep them being fashionable but also keeping in mind the certain things he likes to achieve with his clothes and looks, like Andre has quite long legs and so tries to hide that and fool the eye into thinking he has a longer torso. Basically making his small figure look more male, I think it must be working because it makes me doubt if I’ve actually drawn him anatomically correct when drawing XD. (I’m really, really sorry if this doesn’t make any sense DX DX)

Hey guys, I added another post category to this world called "fashion commentary." With these kinds of posts, you can post pictures of outfits and talk about fashion or a fashion subgroup or anything you like.
I've been wanting to make a post category like this for a while now because I wanna post about fashion subgroups like Decora and Shironuri, but I've been shying away from it because I'm wary about people posting photos/artwork that don't belong to them in this blog. BUT! I've decided it's okay as long as you get permission. here's the guidelines I've added to the rules/etc for these posts:

*In these posts, you can post pictures of fashion that you like/dislike/etc
*These posts are intended to be used as inspiration or to otherwise give others a better understanding on aspects of fashion
*IF YOU POST ARTWORK THAT IS NOT YOURS, YOU MUST GET PERMISSION FROM THE ORIGINAL ARTIST TO POST IT HERE
*IF YOU POST PHOTOS THAT ARE NOT YOURS, YOU MUST LINK BACK TO WHERE YOU ORIGINALLY FOUND THE PHOTOS
*Include at least two sentences about the pictures you are posting. Do not just post pictures.
The last couple bullet points are the really important ones. Please get permission from the original artist if you want to post artwork that isn't yours. If you can't get permission from the artist, then don't post that artwork. Photographs are a little bit more difficult to get permission for, so at the very least you have to link back to where you found the photo if you're going to post photos here. And always link back to the original source even if you get permission from the artist/photographer.
Also, please don't post pictures without any commentary. It's nice to look at pictures, but I feel like we can all learn a little more if some interesting commentary is given on those pictures.
