Everyone met back up in the safe room. They put Chero in a bed and surrounded her
as they held an emergency meeting.
“She’s covered in injuries…”Dino sighed.
“She fought alone…It’s only natural…” Francis said.
“I heard it doubled in size…But she was not surprised at all…was she?” Mocha asked.
“You mean she already knew? Or…?” Dante questioned.
“We should just think…That she has seen it many times over…” Kiki said.
“I agree. That would explain her emotional strength and her being so used to fighting. I know those are not two things she has always been used to…” Hime said.
“I feel as if she gained so much strength over time…But we need to hear it from her…” Jenny said.
“What can we do? We can’t demand she tell us. She does not work that way. Chero is very stubborn,” Danni said.
“We should at the very least try. We need to have her tell us,” Kiki said.
“I do not agree…” Francis said, “We do not want Miss Chero to feel cornered. She may shut down!”
“But we also can’t keep going in the dark like this… We need to interrogate her,” Mocha said.
“But have you seen her face? It is very determined. We should wait and let her tell us when she is ready…” Dante said.
“How long should we wait? We are running out of time! Even if we have to be a little overbearing…I think we should ask her…” Kiki added.
“Tsukino, you know something…Don’t you? Can’t you tell us?” Jenny asked the older Aoyama.
Leonides raised an eyebrow, “Tsuki-chan?”

“But, knowing the truth…I know and understand my sister’s decision. I cannot tell you something she wishes to hide so desperately…”
“But this isn’t just about her! Other lives are at stake. What are we supposed to do now?” Mocha asked.
“Sorry…I don’t know either…” Tsukino said.
“Go easy on her.” Leon said, “I don’t know what to do either…But you are all being too harsh on Tsukino-chan…give her a break.”
“….Dino…She is also your girlfriend…What do you think? Should we wait for her? Or should we interrogate her? I want your opinion…” Tsukino said.
Leonides frowned at the word, boyfriend. He was not a fan of Dino already…and he hardly knew him.
Dino looked at Chero with a pained expression.
“Dino?” Hime questioned.
“I…I…just want her to wake up first…” he said, “More than interrogate…more than anything…I want her to wake up …If she wants to talk. I will listen…if she does not…I will not ask anything.”
Dino closed his eyes, “I think we should try trusting her…”
“When Chero wakes up, her opinion will be important,” Danni said.
“Yes…Let’s wait for her to wake up…” Hime said.
Dino opened his eyes and blinked in surprise.
“Hm? Wait!” he said.
Chero was stirring in her bed.
“She’s waking up…” Tsukino said.
“She’s awake,” Dante said.
Chero slowly blinked and looked around.
“CHERO! Are you ok?!” Kiki exclaimed.
“Praise the Lord…Chero, do you know where you are?” Hime asked.
Chero looked at Hime with confusion on her face. She said nothing. Tsukino got
closer to Chero’s bed, worry on her face.
“Chero?” Tsukino questioned.
“What’s wrong?” Mocha asked.
“Mama, what’s the matter?” Danni asked.
Chero hid part of her face under the covers and muttered, “….are….”
“I’m sorry, amore. I didn’t hear you….can you say that again?” Dino asked.
Chero sat up a little more and uncovered her face. She looked Dino in the eyes.
“Who…are…you?” she said.
