Hello and welcome to Keba's Anime and Manga Place (KAAMP for short)! Here at KAAMP, I write about anime and manga that I have seen/read as well as my views on them. I'll also post about my original stories from time to time.

Just beware that some of my posts contain spoilers. I'll put them in spoiler tags just in case.

KAAMP's history: KAAMP was created in July 2002 by yours truly. It was a sloppy-looking website on Yahoo's now defunct Geocities. I posted my anime fan art on that site. Also, for a time, I posted my thoughts on the few anime series that I had seen. Now that I look back on it, my thoughts were rather ill-informed (is that even a word?) because I had only seen bits and pieces of anime dubs. Now that I've seen more series, I think that my commentary on various anime will be a little better than before.

So, come on in and stay awhile! KAAMP is now in session.

DYNAMIC ENTRY!

WHAT'S UP PEOPLE?!

Alright, enough caps abuse. I'm over-caffeinated but I shouldn't take that out on your eyeballs.

Lately, I've been getting art stuff done. Not only did I finish up my queue of OC answers to your questions, I started some new art. If anyone wants me to livestream them later tonight, I can. That will be from about 9 to 10:30 Central, if you're interested.

I wasn't just productive on art. I finished up another chapter of "Rebels", too. I really had to beef it up from the original draft. It's still a rather short chapter-- kinda cliche, too. I haven't looked at it since I typed it out, but once I finish proof-reading, I'll post it.

Enough about me. I'm going to talk about the anime that I'm watching. OK, that's sort of about me, but in a more passive role. I started a new one (and by "new" I mean new for me) called Spice and Wolf. I'm really enjoying it. Sure, I'm having a little trouble following the talk about money and market values, but I still find it entertaining.

I'm really behind on my anime-watching. I mean, I missed the new season of Attack on Titan in its entirety. Heck, there are a lot of series in which I finished the first season, but haven't picked up the second. I don't know exactly how many series I can watch at once, but I think I'm going to try to start a lot of them.

This brings me to my next point. I'm on the fence about continuing some series. One that comes to mind is Noragami. Although the art was beautiful, I wasn't exactly smitten with the series as a whole. I heard the second season is better, but I still don't know whether I want to continue it or not.

For the record, I'm in no hurry to start Boruto. I may never watch it at all.

To be honest, a great deal of the anime I want to watch would be considered old. In fact, none of them are currently running. Either they've wrapped up or are on hiatus. This is why I feel so behind. I'm not stressing, though. It's only anime.

Long Time No Post

Hey, people. I know I haven't made a post in some time. That's because I haven't had a whole lot to say. Well, now I do.

I'm still having that problem of wanting to draw but not knowing what to draw. Then again, I still need to work on those last two "Ask Us" comic pages (how many years has it been?). I want to knock those out of the way, but at the same time, I don't want to work on them. Still, I feel that I need to work on them so that I can start other stuff with a clean slate (like the caption battle thing).

Also, this has been my mindset as of late (please excuse the Tumblr-esque format):
Me: Hmm, I should really draw my OCs.
Me: Maybe I should design those new OCs. That way I could get feedback on what looks best.
Me: *Draws another picture of Greed.*

I guess all that has to do with Anime Central coming up. I bought a new pair of shades and some more breathe-able pants. I also was able to get a hotel room, so I'm super hyped about that. And there'll actually be an official FMA photoshoot. The only thing they wont have is karaoke (as far as I know). Oh well. I'll just randomly burst into song at times. Why the heck not?

Just thought of something else I gotta do: those album reviews. I keep mentally writing them while I'm out and about, but once I get to my computer, I can't form a single sentence.

I guess I'll leave you guys with a question to think about. Anyone wanna see me livestream this Saturday? Those usually boost my motivation.

Launching New World(s) for the New Year

Just as the title says, I'll be launching one or two new Worlds next year (which is conveniently just around the corner).

The first one is Art Evolution. I stated in a previous post that it's just a place to post old art. Anyone who wants to guest post can either comment here or PM me. You can join in at any time.

The second one (title pending, but I'm probably going to call it The Bounce House) is kind of a random World. Basically anyone can post anything-- as long as it has some substance. Funny things are highly encouraged. Again anyone who wants go guest post can comment or PM me.

As a final note, I got some comments on my CD World. This makes me simultaneously happy and nervous. I get kind of sensitive about my musical tastes, so I'm a little afraid to read the comments. I WILL read them, though. I just need to work up the courage.

[INSERT WITTINESS HERE]

I can't even think of a proper title. Bleh.

Anyway, I have a couple of updates.

I'm suffering from an art block. I already missed the deadline for the Kagamure Challenge, and I don't think I'll finish my theO MMO thing in time. I guess I'm not doing OC October either. -_- It's a shame that I can't contribute more, but I just can't force myself.

What I've been focusing on more is music. I'm pretty sure my brother's friend will stop by to help me with my computer this coming week. At least I hope so. Then I can host my Challenge.

Speaking of music, I still haven't gotten a straight answer from anyone about what to do with my CD Collection World. Is anyone still interested in it? No one's given me any review requests yet (I get that it's hard to pick from 200+ choices, which is why I haven't just jumped in). I also should update my master list with more stuff. Please, please, PLEASE give me feedback on this.

Loss for Words

I've been meaning to make a post for the longest time now. I just haven't thought of anything good to say. So, let's have some questions.

1. We haven't had a new Challenge in some time. Want me to make one even if there may not be artwork prizes?

2. ACen is coming up and I'm going! I'd like to do an upgrade on my cosplay again. I don't know how appropriate this is to say, but anyone know where I can buy a binder?

3. I posted something in the FFC World about posting the next three chapters of Survival Instincts without previews, like I did with the fifth chapter, and I got no responses. Any thoughts about whether I should just post them in my Library World while bypassing FFC?

4. Anyone up for a livestream? They give me motivation to draw stuff that's been hanging over my head forever. I know I've been talking about this for a long time. It's just that no one seems to be online when I want to do one.

Speaking of those things that never get done, I think I have a reason why I'm not doing them. It's because I'm running out of ideas to draw stuff. After those pictures in the works are done, I've pretty much run out of ideas. They're not so much character ideas as composition ideas. It's easy to draw a character just standing there. It's hard giving those characters something to do.

I've also been hesitant to post art lately. Mostly because I want to hit #1 on the Leaderboards. I just need a lot of momentum, which means a lot of art. Since it takes me forever to finish a piece, I'm saving all of them up to post at once. I know that's kinda dumb, but I don't care.

Just now, I decided to merge my Rock Star Diary with KAAMP. I'll move the posts with comments over, and delete the rest. I haven't been updating that thing, so I might as well free up space. Still not sure about my CD Collection World. Oh, wait.

5. Does anyone care about album reviews or should I delete that World, too? If you do care, I'll update the post with my actual collection.
