Hello and welcome to Keba's Anime and Manga Place (KAAMP for short)! Here at KAAMP, I write about anime and manga that I have seen/read as well as my views on them. I'll also post about my original stories from time to time.

Just beware that some of my posts contain spoilers. I'll put them in spoiler tags just in case.

KAAMP's history: KAAMP was created in July 2002 by yours truly. It was a sloppy-looking website on Yahoo's now defunct Geocities. I posted my anime fan art on that site. Also, for a time, I posted my thoughts on the few anime series that I had seen. Now that I look back on it, my thoughts were rather ill-informed (is that even a word?) because I had only seen bits and pieces of anime dubs. Now that I've seen more series, I think that my commentary on various anime will be a little better than before.

So, come on in and stay awhile! KAAMP is now in session.

Overthinking

Hey, it's been a hot minute. I'm still visiting theO daily, even though I haven't been very active. The reason that I haven't been posting much is because, well, I haven't had much drive to make art.

I think I'm beginning to overthink things way too much. I want to work on redesigning my old OCs, mainly from The Rebels of Planet Aadau and secondarily from Destination (the Survival Instincts characters look OK to me... for now). I've already started with "Rebels", but some of the designs don't look "right". Like, I have them pictured in my head and they aren't coming out the way I want them to.

Then there's the problem I'm having in that I'm coming up with and/or repurposing more OCs. I have that fantasy story (that STILL has no title or plot), as well as a sci-fi story (also with no title), and both have a lot of characters. And I want to draw all of them.

Here lies the problem: I can't decide what to start with first. I have too many choices. And then there's the question what medium I should color them with, which opens up another problem of finding the right paper to use for said medium. Then there's the biggest problem of all: What if I don't like how it looks?

I don't like scrapping artwork. I want to keep it. Work with it. Not give up on it. I have the skill to see when things look off. What I don't have is the skill to fix the off-looking things.

Maybe I just need to sit down and do some anatomy practice. But I want to draw my OCs!!!!!!

See how I'm overthinking things?

OK, so as not to end on such a frustrating note, does anyone know of a place where I can post my stories? I ask because I've been writing (and rewriting) a little bit, and theO's formatting for long-ish stories is kinda terrible. They're not fanfics, so AO3 is out of the question. If anyone could point me in a direction, that would be appreciated.
