Kita opened the door and motioned for Tsukiro to enter. She stepped in behind him and looked around.
“Oooooo…”
That’s all Tsukiro heard and Kita was gone again from his side. Tsukiro sighed and let Kita roam around while he looked around himself. She had disappeared somewhere in the girls section. Tsukiro went the opposite direction. The store had a lot of great items to choose from. They had both complete outfits and separate items lying around. Tsukiro looked at a few, looking at colors and patterns, touching a few of the shirts and bottoms to see how the fabric felt against his skin. He made one lap around the guys section before circling back and picking up items that had interested him.
On the other side of the store Kita was finding all kinds of things she liked. Pants, tops, skirts and even a dress. She had picked out a few things she believed she could not live without or well at least that’s what she told herself. Three pairs of the slim fit jeans. One black, one blue and the other red. She had four tops and a long sweater. Two mini skirts and a soft yellow and white sun dress that sat about her knees. After looking through the clothes, she went to look at the shoes. She found a pair of tennies and a pair of black flats. When she turned she saw the long stocking like she had on at that moment. All types of colors. She grabbed another white pair and a black pair. Her eyes then saw a soft yellow the color of her dress and she grabbed them too.
When she was done looking she looked around for Tsukiro. She saw him across the store still looking so she walked his way.
“I see you found some goodies too.” She gave him a warm smile.
“Yup. I sure did,” he replied.
Despite guys not having nearly as much to choose from as girls (at least, that’s what he thought), Tsukiro’s arms were filled with everything he could find in his style. He had four pairs of pants: two that were slim cut which were dark blue and white, and two boot cut that were grey and black. Also in his arms were two pairs of pastel skinnies, one turquoise and the other a dim violet. He had several t-shirts, long sleeves and wifebeaters. Some bore different patterns or had words. A few others were solid colors. Over his shoulder were some jackets and hoodies. Three of them were formal-casual jackets that were black, silver-grey, and white, two other hoodies were white with dark blue and black with red. The last jacket was a dark blue, fleece formal one with stylish buttons. Both of Tsukiro’s forearms were filled with bracelets, bands, and necklaces with a variety of charms on them. Some were gold, but most were silver. His other hand clenched around three different rings. Over his other shoulder were four different belts.
He looked like a human wardrobe.
“I think I may have gotten too much,” he chuckled sheepishly.
Kita laughed softly at him. “Well if it is things you need then I guess it is all good.” She then spotted a purple hoodie that was hanging on a rack near by. She walked over and pulled it off the rack. It was a deep purple with white and black lettering across the front of it. “Ooo, I like this.” She dropped it across her arm and looked to Tsukiro again with a smile.
“I am ready whenever you are.”
Tsukiro was about to nod when he spotted a shelf filled with hats. He spotted three fedoras, one white, one black and the last a cross between royal purple, violet and a plum color. He nodded his head towards them, gesturing to Kita.
“Could you grab those three for me?”
Kita giggled and grabbed the three hats putting the purple on on her head. “I hope they don’t get mad that I am wearing it. I only have so many hands.”
Tsukiro laughed loudly. “That you’re wearing it?! Look at me! I’m practically wearing everything I grabbed!”
Giggling softly Kita started walking toward the check out counter. She set her things down and shifted a few things around, handing Tsukiro his hats. She then moved her things down so her could set some of things on the counter as well.
After Kita paid she picked up her four bags and stepped aside waiting for Tsukiro to finish. Once all of Tsukiro’s things had been bought and bagged, he was carrying six different bags, each as heavy as the next. He grunted in effort when he took them off of the counter, almost dropping them on the floor. Then remembered something.
“Uh… I think maybe I should get something for the Lieutenant since we’re here. She loves clothes, so I’m sure she’ll want something from here.” Then he remembered another thing. “But… I don’t know the first thing about women’s clothing.”
Kita gave a half smirk. “Well I know women’s clothing. I just don’t know your Lieutenant.” Kita walked over to a rack looking over her shoulder at him. “Does she like sweaters?”
Tsukiro huffed, then said sarcastically, “Well, let’s put it like this: She loves everything. So long as it’s pretty or cute or whatever, I’m sure she’ll love it.”
Kita pulled a cute soft pink sweater that was low cut in the front off the rack. “Think she will like this?” Kita turned it toward him so he could see it better.
“I’m sure she’ll love it. And if not, then I’ll just buy her some other trinket or do her paperwork for three days so she can go off and drink,” Tsukiro said.
Kita nodded packing the sweater over to Tsukiro and laying it on the counter. “There you go then.”
He paid for the sweater and the lady put it in a bag. Kita picked up the bag and walked toward the exit. When she looked outside she was shocked to see it was getting dark. “Wow! I did not realize we were in here that long.”
“Wow,” he breathed.
