Hey hey, I'm Kastom.
I don't like talking about myself, so, uh...yeah. lol. I'm a major gamer, I read a lot of books (physics, math, philosophy, fantasy), watch and read some anime, and spend the rest of my time being annoyed at gravity for restricting me to being able to do only one front flip at a time.
I've posted a few of the articles/essays I've written, so if you're ever interested in reading anything that I have thought about or researched, check out my articles world, Kastom's Thoughts.
And the essentials:
Kastom's Bio:

Real Name: Tomas (Tom)

And I leave you with a quote from Adam which sums me up well:
"Kastom is very smart and wise, but sometimes he acts like a n00blet..."
I suddenly feel very old. And I'm only just turning 19 this year. The cause for this feeling? Video games.
I was first introduced into the video game realm when I was about 2, with the NES, a Commodore 64, an Apple II, and a computer with D...

Hey,
So yesterday I had an amazing Friday. First of all, finished off reading Ranma 1/2. Such a good series. Like, god, sooooo funny. Totally made me think of a mix of InuYasha and Love Hina combined, plus some more awesomeness. lol. But yeah, read all 38 volumes in 5 days. Not bad, not bad. lol. I feel bad reading these things so fast, but I just can't help myself. When I find a story I like, be it anime, books, video games, etc., I can't help myself, and I obsess over said story until I am done. Then I go over it again another few times, except slower, just to make sure I didn't miss anything. But anyways, for those of you that haven't ever read/watched Ranma, do. You'll be happy you did. Now I see why it is considered a classic anime by so many.
I also finally got Neverwinter Nights working on my computer! I haven't played this game since the summer when I got my new laptop. I just couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work! It would start, but it was really choppy and slow. I knew that my graphics card wasn't nearly that bad, so after hours of trying things, I gave up. Then yesterday, I tried again. Within 5 minutes of deciding to attempt to fix it, I had it working. The problem? My dual core processor. I had to change a config to tell it to only use one of my processors since NWN wasn't made to utilize more than one processor properly. So now I'm crazy happy cause really, NWN is one of my favorite games ever. So incredibly good. Story is meh, but the game itself is soooo good. Crazy addictive. Maybe I'll finally try playing online now that I'm somewhere that has high speed. Hmmmmmm...
Anyways, I should get some calc done so that I can play some more NWN or Brawl.
Cheers,
- Kastom
P.S. If anyone can tell me what the title is from, they win cause they're awesome.
Hey,
So I started reading Ranma 1/2 on Monday. As of this post I am on volume...30. lol. I plan on finishing it tonight. I swear. I eat manga and anime. I can't help it. And what's weird is the fact that I don't fall behind in schoolwork and stuff when I do this. Hmmmmm...
Funny thing. Today someone was talking about states in the US, and I mentioned that I barely knew anything about the geography of the US. They were American themselves, and they found it extremely weird that I didn't know much about the states. I responded, "Why would I?", which seemed to confuse them even more. I found it pretty funny. But the truth is, I do know very little. Like, every once in a while, I may randomly hear a state name (for some random reason or another), and I'll be like, "That's a state?!" lol. It's not like I'm bad at geography or anything. I know tons about Canada, and I know all of the countries in Europe as well as their capitals (something I memorized for inter-high school quiz game, Reach For The Top). I just don't know why that guy thought it was so weird that I didn't know much about the US. I mean, he didn't seem to know much about Canada, so, I was like, confused. lol.
Anyways,I should get back to doing work so that I don't have much for Easter weekend. I'm not going home (7 hour drive to get back home from University), but I know that I'm just going to want to laze around the whole long weekend. lol.
So I shall leave you all with this:
Don't you just hate those signs?

Hey,
So I finished Prince of Tennis on Sunday night. Read almost 40 volumes in just under week.
...
...
I'm happy I read fast. Otherwise that would've taken a LONG time to finish it.
I'm also thinking about starting to read One Piece. I read a few random chapters, and it seemed pretty good.
Brawl is taking over my life, I swear. On Saturday, a few friends and I played for 7 hours straight. Now that's not the most I've ever played, but it still was a freakin' lot, especially since I was supposed to be writing up a Chem lab at the time. lol. Whatev though. I got it done in the end.
Anyways, gotta get ready for phys lab.

Hey,
So everyone, watch this video. Some of you may have seen it before, I'm not sure if I just happen to be the last one seeing it or something, but watch. WARNING: may cause some girls to fall over in their chair due to extreme cuteness. I'm a guy, and even I can't stop watching it.
Dancing!!!
BTW, the song is called Caramelldansen, and this specific remix is called, or by, or whatever-ness: Speedycake Remix.
There are some other videos that the person does that are pretty much the same thing, except with kirby. lol.
Also, for those of you that don't check the Watercooler regularly, go there now and check out the "Naruto Madness" comment box. There is currently a philosophical discussion of epic proportions that I want everyone to see and to give their input. Be warned, it's going to be like reading an essay. Or maybe two. Or several. There are some VERY long comments.
Anyways, back to chem lab/trying to keep away from brawl/deciding on whether or not to party with all the drunk people in my hall right now. lol.
Cheers,
- Kastom
