Chasing a Thief

As Kita and Ujikiyo walked side by side down the halls of Las Noches, Ujikiyo started to zone out of the conversation they were having. Starting to drift from reality to his mind, Kita pointed down the hall.

"Uji? Do you see that?” Kita looked to Ujikiyo he was in a daze and not paying attention to her. “UJIKIYO!”

At the heightened tone of Kita the figure turned and looked at both of them as they walked toward him. Just then Kita watched a gate open. However, it was not the garguanta that they normally travel through. She bumped Ujikiyo with her elbow to wake him from his trance.

“That has to be that thief we are looking for come on!” Kita took off for the gate before it started to close.

As Ujikiyo saw Kita run, he darted off and caught up to her, but once he got a good look at the gate that the unknown person opened. He started to take note that this gate was so much more different than the portal that they use. Starting through the gate, Ujikiyo started to notice that even the size, shape, and color was different.
