first day of school at six a.m, self-proclaimed best fan ever of Hiju Basara was still asleep . even after the alarm clock went off a few times, even after her mother came in to wake her, even after the sun peeked through the window. from downstairs her mother called again.
"Sara! get up, you're late! I'm about to clean up breakfast!" Sara rolled her eyes and shouted back
"clam down MOM, I'm getting up GOD!" she got up and slammed the open door against the wall. storming into the bath she stripped down and got in the shower. she didn't really make an effort to clean up much, five minutes later she stepped out and got dressed. all black, that's what her mom liked least, it was perfect.
she stomped down the staircase and dropped her heavy book bag by her chair, her littlest brother was in her spot.
"move Charles!" she shouted. the footie pajama-ed boy leapt from the chair with his bowl of fruity cheerios in both hands. it was the special blue bowl only he was allowed to use.
"be gentle Sara, he's only seven, be a good example. you're twice his age." Sara's mom spoke calmly, this kind of bullying happened often it seemed. "do you want eggs and ham?"
"just ham; I hate eggs." Sara said harshly.
"won't you just try one? I can put cheese or salt on them." her mom offered.
"Ew, No way." Sara said "I hate eggs, they stink." Sara's mom put her daughters plate on the table.
"eat up, we're going to be late because you slept in."

Sara was dropped off at school with her two brothers. the elementary and middle school were the same in this town. Sara immediately ditched her brothers the hang out with her friends.
"sa-chan!" Hailey called out to her. she was thick and had short hair that went with the rest of her stubby body.
"koneechewah!" Sara called back. she insisted her friends called her sa-chan, she really loved anime and anime characters had honorifics.
"OMG!" Hailey started "did you see the new episode of Fuwa-Fuwa Love Story? I can't believe Fuwa left him!"
"i know! Hiju is totally the best guy in the show! she gonna pay for what she did!"
Hailey laughed "you are such a fan girl sa-chan!"
"i know, I'm gonna marry Hiju when i grow up!" Sara told her "no matter what!"
~
in class Sara didn't pay attention, she sat in back and drew on her homework. she drew little pictures of Hiju and put hearts and sparkles around them. after class she would turn it in and get zero credit. every class was the same routine. there was nothing else to her life.
"i just don't get it!" she told her teacher after class. " I don't like English." she crossed her arms
"i know you don't pay attention in class Sara." Mrs.Lenna told her. "little drawings will get you nowhere" she held up her latest assignment/masterpiece "if you don't understand i can tell you again but you have to ask for help"
"I don't want help!" Sara shouted "I going to lunch!" she tried to turn around as quick as she could.
what huh? help? what?
next thing she knew she was on the ground face down in the lunch room. a million faces staring and laughing. she had tripped with her lunch try in hand. All her food on the ground, it looked sorrowful almost.
she got up on her knees and looked around. how did she get here? she didn't wait to find out, she clamored up and ran away from the rest of the world.
Sara hid in a little corner of the courtyard. she sat alone and thought sad things and how her life would be better when she became an anime character.
"I'll go eat as much as i want and never be this chubby again," she looked down at her flabby middle section "I'll have super pink hair and all the boys in school would write me love notes" she stroked the ends of her greasy hair "and I'll marry Hiju and live happily ever after....... I feel like writing some fanfic now...."
Sara wandered in to the computer lab after school. she felt strange, heavy and light at the same time. she sat at a computer in the furthest part of the lab. she hid candy wrappers there and no on else used it, the desktop practically belonged to her.
for a second the world went blurry and when it came in focus she was at home. it was dark out and she was standing in front of the microwave.
"Sara, I'm making dinner!" her mom sounded exasperated
"I'm going to my room mom!" Sara didn't bother thinking about what just happened, she just grabbed the hot pocket from the microwave and stomped up the stairs.
in her room she felt strange again.
what huh? wake up? okay? help!!
Hiju sat up in the dark. his head hurt, and his brain.
"did i just have another fan girl dream?" he smoothed out his hair "i need to eat less crap before bed."
he rolled over once more and hoped the nightmare wouldn't continue....
the end.
how can i discribe fanfiction? fanfiction is like a big muddy river, there is so much wrong with it anything good about it gets muddled and covered up. so i compiled a few pointers i think will help you turn your fic into that one gem of the fanfic world. here we go
1: i cannot stress enough the importance of a non-mary sue being your OC. if you use an OC in your fanfic. if you don't think you know what a "mary sue" is you may have seen one already. a mary sue is perfect and has the world bend around them, a mary sue is almost always the fault of the writer. one way to avoid making a mary sue is to avoid making an OC or any character you create like yourself. you'll want all the skills and all the advantages and you are the writer so why not right? because no one like them, they make a story boring not interesting. trust me!
2: a horrible backstory doesn't make your character better, it's hard to read a story when it's angsty protagonist makes you want to punch yourself in the face. a hard life is no excuse for your character, just like with real people they can't be all bad.
3: there was once a saying "the eyes are the windows to the soul" and they can be, but be careful with the "their eyes hold sorrow" and the like. it sounds poetic sure, but if you do that with every character it will get old.(and almost everyone does so try to avoid it)
4: super poetic writing is like raw suger, if you use too much your writing gets grainy and sickening. eww. if you always use it try telling instead of discribing
and that's all for today thanks for reading
