MY LAPTOP IS BEING REPAIRED!!! T^T NOOOOOOO!!!! DX I want my laptop... *sniffle* The stylus doesn't work and it has a virus. So now I have to share this computer with the rest of my family... *shudder*
But uh... yeah. School started, like, 3 weeks ago. Bleh. -_-
I volunteered at this thing to raise awareness and money for OI (osteogenesis imperfecta, or something). It was fun. ^_^ I worked at the arts & crafts station. There were lots of temporary tatoos, and my friends and I were having more fun with those than the kids were. XD Some of my friends had like, 30 tatoos!! XD I have 11 on my body... I put one on my shirt (we all got t-shirts with stuff about the event on them)... and one on my phone. XD There's some pretty design on my left wrist, a little rose with vines on my left ring finger (it washed off... T.T), and purple paw print on my left palm (it washed off too...), a pretty rose design with a cresent moon and stars on my left shoulder, a pretty rose design with vines on my neck, pretty blue flower on my right shoulder, a rainbow butterfly on the inside of my right wrist, a dolphin on my right arm, a glow-in-the-dark butterfly on my left foot, an intricate design around my left ankle, and a pretty design on my right ankle. And on my shirt is this pretty wing design, and on my phone is the glow-in-the-dark butterfly. Also, there was this guy with a bunch of reptiles there, and he had this turtle who didn't have a name. And we all loved said turtle. XD We named her Bathilda. XD And we put a Pooh Bear sticky on her shell!!!!!!!! XD I took a picture... Maybe I'll post it when I upload it onto my computer. XD And the others that don't have people in them, cuz I don't like posting pics of my face or the faces of those I know... cuz I'm paranoid some psycho will see this and then track me down to kill me... or something else that has probably been the basic plot of a rated R horror movie. *shrugs* Not that I think any of you are psychos!!!! XD (...you aren't, are you..?)

So yeah... I keep looking at some of the tattoos and thinking... "Man, I wish some of these were real..." Like the pretty design on my right ankle and my left wrist. Those are so pretty. ^w^ When I turn 18 (ie, not a minor anymore), I wanna get a Celtic knot on my ankle. Like this one:
Only in black and white outlines, no color. I think it would be pretty. ^w^ But just a tiny one, just on my ankle. I don't want any of those full-arm tattoos like some people have... 0_o There's this whole family in my family (my great aunt, great uncle, second cousin [I think... what do your great aunt's grandkids?], and first cousins once removed [which means there's a generation difference between us, I think]) that all have lots of tattoos... and I just don't think it looks very good. *sigh*
I'm going to the movies with my volleyball team tonight!!! ^w^ (Same girls that were at the volunteer thing I mentioned earlier.) We're seeing House Bunny!!! XD I've wanted to see that. It looks funny. XD It's about a former Playboy Bunny who becomes a sorority house mother. XD So, that should be a fun evening. ^_^

Oh yeah, at the OI thing earlier today I also got my face painted!!! XD It was a butterfly. Ya know, one of those ones that goes across your whole face and the middle is along your nose. But it was smudging and stuff and I didn't wanna go to the movies or go to bed with paint on my face... so I washed it off. *shrugs* Oh well.

Love that line. ^_^ Tuomas is an amazing writer. Tarja's voice is amazing (too bad she was kicked out for being a diva and a prima donna. But Anette's amazing too.). Marco's voice is amazing. And the other guys (don't know their names... I'm sorry, Nightwish!!! T.T) are amazing as well. ^w^ I almost got to go to a Nightwish concert... But my mom won't let me go because it takes place in a bar. Bleh. DX T.T Even though it is an all-ages event.
I think one of my favorite Nightwish songs would be Nemo. No, it has nothing to do with the fish. XD Nemo means "nobody" in Latin. If you look up the lyrics... I swear, it was practically written for Kingdom Hearts. XD "One without a name." "Reveal to me my true name." "Walk the dark path." "One without a heart." "My loving heart lost in the dark." All that, plus nemo means "nobody." NOBODY!!! XD Hmmm... I think I'll make Nemo Takara's theme song. XD

Sooooooo yeah. I brought my laptop to my school to be repaired. Cuz the hinge is broken. And it was being held up by string. Yes, STRING. DX So, now Mandi is laptop-less. And I have to share this computer with the rest of my family. Oh, the unspeakable horror!!! DX And since my little brother is obsessed with playing online RPGs, I can't get on most of the time. *sigh* So I was lucky to snag this bit of time to post!! But only after my dad had to yell at my brother to let me on. *sigh* Ah well, que sera sera. (I think that's the phrase... *shrugs*)
Tuesday night my swim team had the end of season banquet. That was lotsa fun. :D I wore my mom's dress... and her shoes... The dress is very pretty. It's off white and lacy with a velvet ribon thingy. But her shoes have got to be the most uncomfortable things I have ever worn. They gave me a blister on the tops of my feet... and they're high-heeled. I have great difficulty walking in high heels. Plus, I'm already tall enough. (I'm 15 and 5'9".) Not that being tall is a bad thing, necessarily... *shrugs* But I just don't like wearing high heels. Um... my little brother got a trophy for "unsung hero"!!! Go Justin!!!! *sniff* I'm so proud!!! T^T When he gave him the trophy, the coach said that an unsung hero is someone that you don't really notice when they're there, but you really miss them when they're gone. Go little brother!!! X3
On Wednesday I went over to M-chan's, and we subsequently went over to G-chan's, to watch a movie. We watched Blood and Chocolate, which is about werewolves. I haven't read the book, but according to M-chan the movie is nothing like the book. For example, the movie took place in Romania. The book... took place in Maryland. -_- Other than minor details such as that, it was a very good movie. It's about a werewolf girl who falls in love with a human, and her family doesn't like it. It was very good. ^_^
I tried today to get contacts... and failed miserably. The doctor said that I might have trouble with things getting so close to my eyes because of trauma when I was a child. When I was 5 or 6, some kid at the playground threw sand at my face, and lots of it got in my eyes, so my mom had to come get me and take me to the doctor to wash it all out of my eyes. Strange thing is, I can't remember ANYTHING at all about that. Nothing. I know that the human brain blocks out any memories of traumatic events... so that's probably it. *shrugs* But anyway, the doctor said that's probably why I have issues with contacts.
Um... there's a neighborhood party tomorrow. :D That'll be fun. 'Cept kids have to leave at 7. *sigh* But then I'm babysitting for one of the kids who's leaving anyway. XD Babysitting is my main source of income. *nods* XD I have had no luck in getting a job as of yet... *sigh* So, I'm pretty much broke. I have to mooch off my parents. DX
