When I woke up I was sore. There were scorch marks across my back. I was standing in front of the mirror looking at my burns when Alex knocked at the bathroom door. "Ai we're going to be late. I still need to use the bathroom." I opened the door and he sighed. "How is it?" I turned so he could see. "Ouch." I squirmed past him and threw on my hoodie, wincing when it hit my burns.

Alex was just coming back out of the bathroom when I started out the door. We had missed our first classes. "I...I'm sorry Alex. It's my fault you missed your first class." He smiled and ruffled my hair. "Don't worry about it kiddo." I blushed. He was the only one I let call me kiddo. My next class was biology. Alex was heading to world history. I saw Sammy running down the hall just before I caught the scent. "Damnit..."

"Puppy!!!!" I was attacked by Ryuu. He was hugging me tightly as I growled at him. Yami wasn't far behind him. She called me a dog which just made me more angry. She got Ryuu off me at least.

Alex put his hand on my shoulder. "Just ignore them and let's go." I sighed. "Hard to ignore them when they hang all over you." He smirked. "Ryuu is...unique." I scoffed. "A pain in my ass is more like it."
