When I woke up Ai was already up and in the bathroom. I sighed, that kid takes forever in the bathroom. I got up and knocked on the door "Ai we're going to be late. I still need to use the bathroom."
He opened the door and sighed. He was standing there with his shirt off and I frowned.
“ How is it?” He turned around and showed me his back. I winced, his back was red and covered in scorch marks “ Ouch.”
He squirmed passed me and put his hoodie on, I could see the tension when it hit his back.
I walked into the bathroom and got ready. When I walked out Ai was headed out the door and I followed. We missed our first class which I really didn’t care about
"I...I'm sorry Alex. It's my fault you missed your first class."
I smiled and ruffled my hair. "Don't worry about it kiddo." He blushed which made me smile more.
I dropped him off at his biology class and I headed to world history but before I got far I headed him mumble “Dammit.” under his breath. I turned around to see Ryuu Screaming “Puppy!” and attacking Ai with a hug. I sighed and walked back to Ai.
Yami was being herself and looked really annoyed at Ryuu “Ryuu let go of the dog.” Yami said as she walked up next to him.
I said Ai really didn’t like being called a dog. “I’M NOT A DOG!” Ai Yelled as he wiggled out of Ryuu’s hug
“Alex reign in your pup will you?” Yami said at me as she ignored Ai’s outburst.
I looked at her unsure what to say… My pup?.. I.. I didn’t know what she was talking about..
“Come on Ryuu. Stop annoying the dog and the fallen.”
Ai looked like he was going to attack her but I put my hand on his shoulder. "Just ignore them and let's go."
He sighed. "Hard to ignore them when they hang all over you."
I smirked. "Ryuu is...unique."
He scoffed. "A pain in my ass is more like it."
I chuckled. “ I know but don’t worry about them for now.” The classroom doors started to close as the second class of the day started. I sighed. “ You want to just skip classes for the day?” I asked Ai.
He just rolled his eyes. “ How did you get this far by skipping classes?”
“ That’s not important. Come on, I can tell you don’t want to go to classes either.”
“ Yeah, fine. Lets go.” He said starting to walk away.
I smiled and followed taking his hand. “ Oh we are going to have such a fun day without classes!” Classes were so boring and I was glad he agreed to skip them with me today.
