Ai ran out of the room and i quickly followed he wasn’t happy about it and when we got outside and turned and growled at me. “ LEAVE ME ALONE!”
“ Why? I’m concerned. I just want to know what's wrong.”
“ You wouldn’t understand!”
“ You don’t know that.”
“ No one will understand.”
“ You never know.”
He glared at me. “ No.”
I shrugged knowing I wouldn’t get anywhere. “ Alright. I’m going to head back to the dorm. Just know I’m here if you need me.” I turned around to head back to the dorm when I started to hear a whimper. I turned around to see Ai’s hears down and his tail between his legs, he seemed to be crying. I froned and hugged him. “ Hey Kiddo. It’s ok.. Don’t cry.”
He leaned against me and started mumbling “I’m not ok”
I hugged him tighter. “ I got you Kiddo.”
“ If I tell you.. You’ll hate me..”
“ I frowned at him. What could he be so worried about that I would hate him. “...... I don’t think that could happen.”
“..I...I can't...l...live through...another Ame.” He started hyperventilating. I hugged him tighter to try to calm him down a little.
“... Another Ame?... He’s the guy who changed you?” Even though Ai never talked about him I could tell that this Ame guy really hurt him and it made me mad.
He nodded.
“ That won’t happen.”
“ I.. I love you.” He cringed away from me.
I just smiled and tilted my head. He really liked me and a little thing of joy went through me. “Yeah?”
He peeked up at me. “ ….Y..You’re not mad?”
I shook my head still smiling. “ Why would I be mad?”
He blushed and I had to hold in a chuckle. “well...not all guys like when another guy says they love them…”
I shrugged. “ I love you too so it’s fine.”
He went even redder “ Y..you do?”
I couldn’t keep in the chuckle this time. “ Yeah.”
“ Like love..love?”
I rolled my eyes. “ Yep.”
He looked at me shocked and I just smiled at him. I guess he didn’t expect that and I could understand. I never guess he would like me either.
