when your always happy

A little tired on christmas eve
just a little time for you and me
Yeah i got you a present
and of course its always pleasant
So what do you think i bought
maybe something you've always sought
You pick it up with a face filled with joy
As if you were a small christmas boy
You quickly ripped the paper off
And you almost gave off a cough
When you saw the present i got for you
Filled with love so thought true
It was something i made myself
Not even by some little elf
I made it just for you in little marks
and lovely, shining sparks
I wanted to show you what it looked like
A small wooden angel alike
no- none other the same
I took in christmas perfectly sane
