16 years later
That morning, 16-year-old Jess walked into her room, very tired from her night shift. She has been working all day and all night to get more money to open up the restaurant for her mom, who had passed away. She yawned and took off her apron and got out the money, "Well Jessy, a rough night for tips, but every little penny counts," she placed the coins in the money can along with the rest. She got out the paper of the restaurant she had when she was little and placed it next to the picture of Karura, "Don't you worry mom. We'll be there soon." Jess flopped down on her bed, getting more sleep, but her alarm clock went off and she tapped in by her foot. Jess opened her dresser, "Good night Oogie's, hello Charlie's."
Jessy went to the train and went to the town, where her daytime job is located.
In the south land there's a city

Inside, Jess is reading the magazine as a man name Sasuke Uchiha is going to hand her a flower, but Jessy left and Sasuke accidentally showed the flower to Itachi Uchiha, who glared at him. She got off the train and saw a few people playing jazz music.

Inside, Jessy carried the food and passed them to each customer. She is working really good and gave the food to a three-tailed turtle named Isonade Sanbi. He ate it and smiled, saluting her. Jess saluted back. She felt a tap from a crow named Charlie and gave her more trays of food.

Part of the town, Louie the Bat sat across a table, watching a man. The man had red hair, has red eyes but has purple eye contacts on, and giant, black Gargoyle wings. He wears a grey jakcet with black pants, having holes all over it; he's Concerto Mayhem. Con showed Louie the cards to his future. Louie sighed, showing him that he has short hair. Concerto smirked and blew pink power on him, making his hair grow. Later, Louie smiled at Ria, but the hair grew all over his body! Ria screamed and whacked him on the face. Louie looked at himself and screamed.

Down here in Tokyo
Concerto chuckled evilly and flipped the coin Louie gave him. Suddenly, he saw Shukaku driving by and handed Ominous a lot of money to buy the newspaper. Ominous gasped and cheered. Con watched Shukaku leaving as his own shadow moved and got out the coin out of Concerto's jacket. Con growled angrily that Plan A has failed. Time for Plan B.

Shukaku read the newspaper as we see the front page with a picture of a 20-year-old man, who is a prince; he's Taro, the prince that is arriving here. Meanwhile Taro stood by the ship with people taking pictures of him. With him and carrying suitcases, is a male Cheshire cat with stripes; he's Taro's cat, Paradox. Taro took off his royal clothes, revealing his normal clothes and took out the guitar from Paradox's back. He stood by the girls, who sighed at him, but Taro saw the jazz band playing. Taro ran up to join as the girls chased him. Paradox walked down, still carrying suitcases, until he slipped on Taro's crown and slid down the ground; he growled in frustration.
At Shukaku's mansion, Shukaku picked up Yumi, who is older and handed her the newspaper. Yumi is excited that Shukaku has invited Taro to the ball tonight. Back at the town, Jess walked outside as the band walked by. Taro joined with them until he saw Jess. He smirked and winked at her, but Jess rolled her eyes and walked back inside. Taro shrugged and catched up with the band while Shukaku's car parked in front.
