The Princess and The Spider

It was the night of the party. Everyone was in costume and was happy... everyone except for Jess. She was in a red, sparkly dress with a white diamond crown on her head, selling onigiri when she heard news that she was going to lose her resteraunt. Yumi, who was dancing with Prince Taro, ran up to Jess and took her to her room to comfort her. She went to go get something. All alone, Jess cried, then she looked up at the star.

She sighed, "I cannot believe I'm doing this," she held her hands closely, "Please, please, please," she still stared at the star, hoping that her wish came true quickly. Suddenly, she saw a very small Black Widow spider with a red hourglass symbol, 8 skinny legs, 8 eyes, and fangs. It looked hungry. Feeling a little sorry for it, Jess ran to get some food and gave it to the spider.

"Here you go, little guy." Jess smiled nervously, scared of the spider. The spider started to eat. Unfortunately, since Jess had a spoiling problem when it comes to animals and certain humans, the spider grew to the size of a dog.

Jess gasped and glared at the star, "Very funny," she looked at the spider, "So what know? I recon you want a kiss?"

The spider stared at her and smirked, "Kissing would be nice, yes?"

Jess screamed and backed away quickly into the bedroom. She crashed into the shelf, knocking some stuff on her.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!" the Black Widow apologized, "I did not mean to scare you," he gasped when Jess was throwing stuff at him, "You have a very strong arm princess," he dodged some more, "Okay please, put the chainsaw down!" he got hit by the chainsaw, "Ow!"

Jess held up a book, "Stay back or I'll…"

The spider walked in, "Please, please. Allow to introduce myself, I am Prince Taro," without warning Jess hits him on the head, "Seriously girl, stop doing that!!!"

"Prince? But I didn't wish for any…" Jessy said, but she stopped that this spider introduced himself, "Hold on, if you're the prince, who was that waltzing with Yumi on the dance floor?"

The real Taro sighed, "All I know is one minute, I'm charming and handsome, cutting a rug. And the next thing I know, I am tripping over these," Taro showed her his own legs. Jess was about to hurt him as Taro defended himself, but he saw the title of the book, "Wait, I know this story, 'The Spider Prince.'"

"This?" Jess asked, handing him the book.

Taro held it, "Yes, my mother had the servants read this to me every night," he turned the page and turned it back, figuring out a way to change him back, "Yes, this is exactly that answer. You must kiss me."

"Excuse me?" Jess asked, her eyes bugged out.

"You will enjoy it, I'll guarantee it," said Taro, "All the women enjoy the kiss of Prince Taro. Come, we pucker." He puckered his lips, but his poisonous fangs flipped out, "That's new."

Jess backed away, "Look, I'm really sorry. I really like to help you, but I just…do not kiss spiders."

"But...on the balcony, you asked me," said Taro.

"I didn't except to you to answer!" Jess snapped.

"But you must kiss me. Look, besides being unbelievably handsome, I also come from a fabulously wealthy family," Taro explained, "Surely, I can offer you a type of reward, a wish I can grant perhaps?"

Jess thought for a moment and looked at the paper of her dream. If she kissed Taro, he'll change back and he gave help her with her restaurant. She looked back at him, "Just…one kiss?"

"Just one, unless you beg for more," Taro smirked, licking his lips, if spiders had lips.

Jess felt like she's going to throw up. She puckered her lips and leaned towards his with her eyes closed. She open one eye and saw Taro's mouth puckered up. Jess shrieked and backed away. She took deep breaths, while Taro puffed some perfume in his mouth. Jess held her breath and kiss him right on the lips. Suddenly, the spell began to work, going to change Taro back, but all of a sudden, Jess had disappeared and Taro was still a spider. Taro checked and notice that he's still a spider. What's going on? The spell worked on every prince, but why is this spell not working for him?

Taro sighed and looked around to find Jess when she spotted her, with her clothes ripped. He gasped, "This is not good."

"You don't look that much different and why is my dress ripped and…" Jess saw her hand, which is different. She gasped when he saw that her hand is a skinny, spider leg. She looked at the reflection on the mirror and saw that she had eight legs, a purple body, a red hourglass symbol, and fangs. She also has eight, blue eyes as Taro's and a little tuft of purple hair. Since all female spiders are bigger than male spiders, Jess was slightly bigger than Taro. The spell backfired and Jess is a Black Widow spider! She screamed and panicked.

"Easy, princess, do not panic!" Taro tried to calm her down.

"What did you do to me?!" Jess snapped, "I'm purple and all hairy!"

"No, that is not hair," said Taro, "Those are feelers." Jess growled angrily and tackled Taro, but without warning, they lost balance and fell out of the window. Back at the ball, Spits is playing the drums slowly and bored. Suddenly, he saw the spiders landed next to him and he began to whack them, playing the fast music. The other players played fast and the couples dance wildly. Yumi saw the spiders and screamed

"Malady!" Yumi yelled as Malady heard, when she was eating dog food, "Get those spiders!"

"Spin a web!" Taro grabbed Jess's hand and ran.

"I can't spin a web I don't know how!" Jess yelled.

"Run on eight legs!" Taro yelled as he and Jess ran on the dinner table with Malady chasing them. They screamed, when Worm was about to chop their heads off with his katana, but they missed and he chopped off the giraffe head, Spits was wearing.

"IDIOT!" Spits yelled. The giraffe head landed on both Taro and Jess's heads, which made them can't see where they are going. Thorn and Roulette are about to kiss, but they saw Taro and Jess running pass them and Malady is still chasing them. Shukaku was drinking more wine, but he saw the spiders being chased by Malady. Shukaku poured out the wine in fear. The spiders crashed into a lot of balloons and the threads now tangle them up and the balloons flew up, taking them.

Jess saw Malady coming closer, "Wait, Malady! Malady it's me Jessy!"

"Jessy?" Malady spoke and fell on the table, making the cake flew and splattering on Worm and Loe.

"Malady just talked to me, the dog just spoke to me!" Jess panicked.

"You know, if you're going to let everything bother you, it's going to be a very long night!" Taro shouted at the balloons took them away. Meanwhile, the man in the costume removed the smiley mask; it is Concerto and he was in the ball this whole time. He looked up and glared angrily at Taro and glared at the imposter Taro.

The fake Taro ran into the small house and saw that the cage, the real Taro kept was opened. "Oh dear," fake Taro said as Con appeared out of nowhere. Fake Taro simply turned around, "You're so quiet."

"You let him go?!" Con snapped.

"He was gasping for air, so I loosened the lid slightly," Fake Taro explained as Con's shadow tripped over him. The shadow laughed evilly. Concerto sighed.

"Shadow, don't torture the puss or he'll kill you..."

"Hell yes I would!" The Fake Taro glared. Shadow crossed her arms and sat down. The Fake Taro clutched a talisman around his neck.

"How did I ever get tangled up in this Voodoo madness? I can't go through with this!" he removed the talisman that Con used on the real Taro. Suddenly, when the talisman was removed the fake Taro had changed back into his regular self, Paradox. Paradox was disguised as Taro this whole time by wearing the talisman with Taro's blood in it.

"Wait, I could just transform into Taro," Paradox said, "Why do I need this?" He asked the writer of the story, showing her the talisman.

"Because I want you to, that's why!" SandLover13 yelled back. Paradox sighed.
Concerto stared at him as Paradox glared, "You wear this ghastly thing!" Paradox threw it.

"Careful with that!" Con yelled, catching the talisman, "Anything happens to this, I'm going to be…" he calmed down, "Fun fact about Voodoo, Paradox, can't conjure a thing for myself. Besides, you and I both know the real power this world isn't magic, its money!" he showed Paradox the picture of Shukaku, "Buckets of it." Thunder and lightning crashed.

"That's true," said Paradox.

"Aren't you tired of living in margins, while all those fats cats and their fancy cars don't give you so much as a sideways glance?" Con asked, glaring at the camara.

Paradox growled, "Yes, I am!"

"All you got to do is marry the tanuki's little princess and we'll be splitting that juicy fortune right down to the middle," Concerto explained as he put the talisman on Paradox, who became Taro. Shadow came up to Paradox and whispered in his ear.

"Plus, with Taro out of the way, you can kill whoever you want, whenever you want." She smirked evilly. Paradox grinned an evil smile.

"Yeah, but what about Taro?" Paradox asked.

Con frowned and whacked Paradox on the back of his head, "You're little slip-up will be a minor bump in the road so long as we got the prince's blood in this." He, Shadow, and Paradox chuckled evilly for their plan.
