Ah, Hello my fabulous readers! Allow me to squint so that I may see you off in the distance!
I hope you enjoy reading it

its Friday
Ohayo/Konnichi wa/Konban wa, minna san!
Well, it is Friday the 29th of August.
I have today off of work for a special reason
That's right, the time has come again to spend money like I don't even have to earn it. Another convention in North Texas.
This weekend is Afest, less popular than A-kon (which is also held in Dallas), but perhaps the most fun con I go to yearly. Afest is a great attraction for the everyday otaku (especially because it is on a holiday weekend). There is a big dealer's room, a huge cosplay competition, and concerts... oh yeah, no concert this year. The budget is being pointed at cosplay this year, but that also means that next year's band should kick ass (the club admin says so). Anyway, I'm just squandering my time left before my Full Throttle wears off by typing this up.
I really need to get my draw on this time too, I haven't drawn anything in awhile... then again, no photoshop in awhile either... my hobbies are beginning to compete with each other.
I managed to buy The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Gundam Wing 1-25 (still needa find 26-end) with the help of a $25 Best Buy gift card, which honestly wasn't too much help.
(by the way, I'm quite out of it right now while typing this, so I need not explain further the odd quirks of my writing this late)
Also, the Otaku story is coming to a close and the name "Bound by You" was voted for the most (out of maybe 5 votes wasn't it?). Hopefully the story met with the ending that was prewritten so the dang thing wont be much longer than 80 pages. I've gotta edit it... so much missing punctuation... T-T so many structure flaws T-T... I don't look forward to them all very much.
In final news (my eyes are trying to close themselves without permission now) I've started my Japanese class and there are some things I can share... maybe a guest post on some sort of Japanese teaching page? Anyway, we've gone over aeuio for katakana and I've stumbled across some teaching aids, heck I'll even share my homework :D (that will have to be taken care of late on Monday if possible...)
well, all that's left is ikimasu
of course it's not sayonara (same as farewell [the "I may never see you again" kind of goodbye])

Time off of The O
As I am going to be without internets for awhile, please stand by so that I may soon get them.
I haven't signed up for internet service yet, so it will be about one week until I have it.
Please stand by for next blog entry.

Title Changed
Well,
I'm gonna be honest here and say its an "attention grabbing title"
according to my Psychology book, reverse psychology works this way, so why not use it selfishly, really?
It is 4:30am now, and I'm still awake. What the heck?!
While I was awake earlier today, I managed to take an IQ test and get past all of the spam and everything to actually get my score (I'd say that should add to my score, personally). I had trouble getting to the freaking answer after I had finished the quiz itself (which wasn't easy at all).
According to it, I have an IQ of 147... Excuse me, but DANG! average IQ is 100
I should have used it in high school =_=;
oh well, the accuracy of those things are questionable anyway. According to another one, I'm a drug addict and only 20% gay LOL
I'm going to go to sleep before I hurt myself... It's been a long time of doing nothing.

Moving day has "moved" per se
Well, once again I'll fill you in
on all the @#$% that did begin
and set my world all-a-spin
sometimes I find, I just can't win
that was a much better poem! yay me!
well, I'm kinda down about things now that things have happened
What things happened, you ask?
Of course something happened! I mean, really... What kind of great happenings can occur without some kind of thing that is not in my favor?
Spill it, you say?
Alright, turns out that I am not even moving this weekend as was planned. I was left by the wayside by my new apartment's staff. In fact, I'm having to transfer my ferdeekin' application to another location that happens to be owned by this company to move within the same month! I had my unit settled and picked out for the first time weeks ago - it was supposed to be a renovated model, and it was... until the inspector found what must be a terrible plumbing issue. It was going to take an extra week to fix it!!! Anyway, the management was "kind" and pointed out another unit that would be ready on the date that I wanted to move in (this was the week before it was supposed to be done - yesterday). Turns out that my luck is terrible and the staff was terribly misinformed. It was scheduled to be finished on the 21st!. I happen to find this out after I ask to tour the place after it is done and the same day before I was supposed to move (I was supposed to move today). Well, while that unit is going to be finished later, the move date of the 22nd is out of the question even with end of the month of August for free. I found out that the complex down the street (which I looked at previously - it was $50/month more expensive) was operated by the same company. Hopefully, things don't get @#$%ed up again and I will still be moved into a newly renovated apartment on the 11th.
Oh yeah! Speaking of the 11th! I recieved a jury summons that I was going to be able to dodge because of the move - on the 11th! Depending on the ability of the bureaucracy that is my current county's courthouse establishment, I will still be able to exempt it because of the postponement that I applied for. This is the most trouble I've had to go thru EVER - likely more than most anyone else just getting their first apartment has. Its bad enough that I had everything packed...
Well, after I submit this page turning epic of a move over to the Lifetime movie channel, I'm gonna get moving - to the Dark Knight movie that I still haven't seen.
Well, good Knight everyone

Moving day is on the Way
Well, I must say
that indeed, the day
in which I move
to my new place
has hit my calendar
in the face
Okay, well I asked for that torturous poem... although I could have avoided it altogether.
But spare you the privilege of hearing it? Never!
Back to sanity -
well, I'm on my way out the door in a couple of Fridays and then I'm starting my alone time at my own pad.
Its a cozy little one bed - one bath that's been recently renovated with new appliances and fresh paint and increasingly new a/c (condensing units at least)
I already got the toaster and the wireless router that I know I'll be needing (I'll be sure to use them as directed), so all thats left is the furniture and the cable/internet among the other things I'll likely forget.
Lucky for me, there's a store that has everything I need... even toilet paper... and a sandwich.
Yes! IKEA is the place where I will either get myself a new couch or something to make a cheaper couch look better. I'll likely take the better full size couch since I will have a friend over for the next con I'm going to. That's right Caesar!
Well, I'm getting things in order and really don't have too much time to post much more...definitely not now that I've also copied this to the O.
In other news
Oh yeah! I'm signed up for a course in Japanese!
I'm pretty psyched about it, but the tape I had to go through for the second time wasn't too fun. Turns out that if you aren't taking classes for a year, you are no longer "enrolled" in the college I went to.
Also, not surprising enough - the playground for my old elementary school caught fire today.
NOT ARSON!
That should explain how hot it is in Texas these days - it spontaneously combusted! (nobody was hurt). Tomorrow's high is forecasted to be 102 degrees! Oddly... I like the heat.
Well, thats the news - I believe it definitely broke.
